Korea announces scholarships for Lankan students

The Government of Korea announced that it is offering four scholarships to Sri Lankan students to pursue graduate studies in the Asian nation.
The move is a part of the Korean Government Scholarship Program, which is offering 176 scholarships to foreign students covering 149 countries, during this year.
Korean Embassy in Colombo announced that the aim of this scholarship program is to promote international exchange in education, as well as mutual friendship with the participating countries.
The KGSP quota for Sri Lanka has increased from one to four this year.
Embassy in a statement issued says, the eligible Sri Lankan who wishes to apply for the program should submit all relevant documents to the Korean mission in Colombo by 22nd March 2013.
